Classical Luang Prabang � 3 Days and 2 nights in Luang Prabang � for  those with limited time but wishing to explore and enjoy the classical temples and environs of Luang Prabang. Essential content includes � reception on arrival by your guide, transfer to hotel in air conditioned vehicle, temple visits including Wat Visoun, Wat Aham, Wat Mai, climb the 328 steps to the top of Phnom Phousi for magnificent views over the Mekong River Valley and Luang Prabang town, especially at sunset or dawn as well as the hilltop temple and Buddha�s footprint. Visit the hill tribe peoples night street market. Visit Wat Sene, travel along the Mekong River Valley to the Pak Ou/Tam Ting Caves filled with Buddha images left by devote pilgrims and travellers over the centuries. Your boat may be either a traditional, narrow Lao boat, for those seeking the peace and tranquillity of the river or the faster and noisier �long tail� boat.  Visit the small villages �Ban� of Ban Xanghai and see the production of �Lao Lao� rice spirit �wine� and Ban Phanon, well known in Lao for its hand-weaving. We also visit the NationalMuseum housed in the former RoyalPalace, a most interesting former French colonial tropical building housing many interesting and ancient objects.
